Michigan based photographer David Brege began his professional photography career over twenty years ago. A graduate of Center for Creative Studies College of Art and Design in Detroit, Michigan, David earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in photography in 1987. His early years of photography consisted of working heavily in the entertainment and public relations fields. Shortly after college, his work shifted to the commercial advertising field where he eventually became director of the photography department for a national advertising and production company. Throughout his career, David always considered himself to be a people photographer. He always enjoyed working with beautiful models and felt that this is where his strongest talent lay. He now dedicates his time and talent to the area of artistic glamour and beauty photography.
Photographs by David Brege capture more than just the beauty of his subjects, they capture the spirit also. He has always felt that what makes an image strong is more than just technical know-how. The image must also bring forth a feeling or emotion from the subject and must evoke a feeling or emotion from the viewer. His style and technique is simple, yet elegant. His goal is to exhibit the inner and outer beauty of each of his subjects and to share that beauty with the world.
